To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; … A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.—Ecclesiastes 3:3
Often times we want things to happen a certain way according to our intellect and knowledge. This is one of the biggest challenges we face because often times it doesn’t happen that way and this can lead to frustration and doubt. Proverbs 19:21 declares that many are the plans in a person’s heart but it’s the Lords will that will prevail.
Life will often challenge us with a curve ball because we were looking for the ball to be pitched right down the middle. These situations sometimes can seem insignificant, meaningless, and of no value. We all experience the different seasons in our lives and all are necessary.
What you go through in this season prepares you for the next season. David says in Psalms 119 that it was good for him to be afflicted so he would learn and obey the Lords decrees. Some things must happen in order for us to recognize there is better and God desires for us to have the better.
When we get things our way we limit the best God has for us. So in everything honor the moment because it’s a seed for your next and it’s better than your former. After the winter season, spring always follow and after night time, the day time always follows and after every sad and bad situation you encounter joy, happiness and peace will follow. Honor your moment because it’s a seed for your next.
